The Acura MDX would be a closer comparison to the Lexus RX 350. Acura and Lexus boast good overall quality, no mechanical issues, superior dealership service, and one of the best warranties in the industry. Some prefer the Acura, finding the interior of the Lexus a little glittering and the materials not as enjoyable. The Acura has a streamlined, not hyper-elegant, yet tasty design. The Acura also looks more spacious, particularly in the rear seat and freight area, but the RX and RDX are roomy enough for most uses.
The Lexus has been the enduring bestseller in the Luxury SUV class, so the resale values are higher. The Acura isn’t as well known and therefore offers more value. People who own Lexus prefer the cushier and quieter RX 350 over the Acura, which is more fun to drive.
